Thoma Bravo has purchased a real estate software company for an astounding $9.6billion. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/realpage-onesite\" target=\"_blank\">RealPage<\/a> provides a software platform to owners and managers of rental properties for taking rent, keeping track of maintenance requests, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/cisco-acquires-software-startup-dashbase-to-bolster-observability-in-appdynamics\/#ftag=RSSbaffb68\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Cisco acquires software startup Dashbase to bolster observability in AppDynamics<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was just in 2017 that Cisco had acquired <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/appdynamics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AppDynamics<\/a>, and now, in a bid to bolster that, it&#8217;s purchasing Dashbase. Dashbase provides logs and events analytics technology with its software. The company hasn&#8217;t disclosed the terms of the deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.finsmes.com\/2020\/12\/ringcentral-acquires-deepaffects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>RingCentral acquires DeepAffects<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/ringcentral-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RingCentral<\/a>, one of the leading cloud communications provider, has acquired a conversational intelligence company. DeepAffects uses AI to analyze conversations to surface interesting insights. The financial terms haven&#8217;t been divulged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2020\/12\/23\/22197057\/zoom-email-service-calendar-app-microsoft-google-competition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Zoom may launch an email service and calendar app to compete with Google and Microsoft<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/zoom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zoom <\/a>has seen an explosive growth amidst the ongoing pandemic, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/video-conferencing-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video conferencing software<\/a> doesn&#8217;t want to limit itself to be a one-trick pony. If a report from The Information is to be believed, the company is working on an email service and calendar app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2020\/12\/23\/letterhead-wants-to-be-the-shopify-of-email-newsletters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Letterhead wants to be the Shopify of email newsletters<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newsletters have grown at an exponential pace with platforms like Substack. Now, a company dubbed Letterhead aims to make it easy to not only create newsletters, but earn revenue too with ads, subscriptions, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"saas-companies-that-got-the-funding-this-week\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"SaaS_companies_that_got_the_funding_this_week\"><\/span>SaaS companies that got the funding this week<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.finsmes.com\/2020\/12\/classin-raises-265m-in-series-c-funding.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ClassIn raises $265million in Series C funding<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chinese EdTech company ClassIn offers interactive classrooms, and it has now closed a $265million Series C funding round. Led by Hillhouse Ventures, the company will be deploying the fund in R&amp;D, and expanding to more markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/siliconangle.com\/2020\/12\/21\/digital-contract-management-startup-ironclad-reported-raised-100m\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Digital contract management startup Ironclad reportedly has raised $100million<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mary Meeker&#8217;s Bond Capital has led the $100million round for digital <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/contract-management-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contract management software<\/a> dubbed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/ironclad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ironclad<\/a>. With a valuation nearing $1billion at $950million, the company will be using its funds to improve its product and go against the rival <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/docusign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DocuSign<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20201221005422\/en\/Dialpad-Raises-Additional-10M-from-SoftBank-Corp.-to-Accelerate-Product-Expansion-in-Japan-and-APAC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Dialpad raises additional $10million from SoftBank Corp. to accelerate product expansion in Japan and APAC<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In October this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/dialpad-talk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dialpad<\/a> had raised $100million which was led by OMERS Growth Equity. Now, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/cloud-communication-platform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cloud communications software<\/a> company has announced that it has received $10million from Softbank in the same round.
