Expected to be the among the first IPOs of 2021, Qualtrics could be valued as high as $14.4billion. Investment firm Silver Lake has purchased $550million worth of Class A shares in a private placement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2020\/12\/29\/vmware-files-suit-against-former-exec-for-moving-to-rival-company\/\"><strong>VMware files suit against former exec for moving to rival company<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/nutanix-beam\">Nutanix<\/a> CEO Dheeraj Pandey announced his plans to retire in August, he was replaced by VMWare executive Rajiv Ramaswami as president and CEO in December. However, Dell-owned VMware has filed a lawsuit against him as he has breached his contract. Considering Nutanix and VMware are rivals, it remains to be seen how the lawsuit plays out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/searchdatabackup.techtarget.com\/news\/252494141\/Zix-acquires-CloudAlly-backup-for-SaaS-data-protection\"><strong>Zix acquires CloudAlly backup for SaaS data protection<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Email security provider Zix has acquired CloudAlly for $30million. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/cloudally-office-365-backup\">CloudAlly backup<\/a> works with popular apps like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/office-365\">Microsoft 365<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/google-workspace\">Google Workspace<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/salesforce\">Salesforce<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/box\">Box<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/dropbox-business\">Dropbox<\/a> for backup. The deal price was $30million and the acquisition happened in November 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.finsmes.com\/2020\/12\/cedar-gate-technologies-receives-minority-investment-from-cobalt-ventures.html\"><strong>Cedar Gate Technologies Receives Minority Investment from Cobalt Ventures<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Care performance management company Cedar Gate has announced that it has received investment from Cobalt Ventures. The amount hasn&#8217;t been divulged, however.
