So it comes as no surprise that the leader in the space \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/okta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Okta<\/a> \u2013 has announced the acquisition of its rival <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/auth0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Auth0<\/a> in an all-stock deal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Okta also announced its quarterly results where it achieved the revenue of $234.7million, up 40 percent y-o-y.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/xero-expands-small-business-offering-with-planday-acquisition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Xero expands small business offering with Planday acquisition<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Australia-based <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/xero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Xero<\/a>, the popular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/xero\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">accounting software<\/a>, has announced the acquisition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/planday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Planday<\/a>, a workforce management platform. The deal is pegged at \u20ac183.5million, in a mix of cash and stock deal. The deal will help Xero cement its position in the small business market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-02-26\/cybersecurity-company-sentinelone-is-said-to-prepare-for-ipo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Cybersecurity firm SentinelOne plans for IPO at possible $10billion value<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AI-based cybersecurity firm SentinelOne reportedly plans to go public this year. While the talks are in early stage, the company could be valued as high as $10billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-03-01\/risk-analytics-firm-qomplx-to-go-public-through-casper-ceo-spac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Risk analytics firm Qomplx to go public via Casper CEO SPAC<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It seems that SaaS companies are also catching the SPAC bug. Qomplx, a risk-analytics provider to protect against cybersecurity threats, will be going public via Tailwind Acquisition Corp with a valuation of $1.4billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/03\/01\/zoom-zm-earnings-q4-2021.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Zoom pops as company beats expectations and issues strong guidance<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While many analysts expected the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/zoom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zoom<\/a> boom (pun intended) to slow down as people return to their workplaces, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/video-conferencing-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video conferencing software<\/a> has beat the market expectations with its quarterly results. It announced a revenue of $882.5million, much higher than the expected revenue of $811.8million. The year-on-year revenue has grown by 369 percent. Zoom also mentioned that it&#8217;s open to acquisition if it finds the right fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/box-beats-q4-estimates-as-adoption-of-box-suites-accelerates\/#ftag=RSSbaffb68\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Box beats Q4 estimates as adoption of Box Suites accelerates<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cloud content management firm Box has beaten the analyst expectations with a Q4 revenue of $198.9million. The revenue for the entire fiscal year was $770.8million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/03\/03\/snowflake-snow-earnings-q4-2021.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Snowflake eliminates dual-class share structure, hits estimates on guidance<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/database-management-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Database management software<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/snowflake\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Snowflake<\/a> announced its quarterly results with a revenue of $190.5million. It also eliminated the dual-class share structure, giving all shareholders equal rights and control over the company&#8217;s direction.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2021\/3\/1\/22307087\/google-workspace-status-meet-calendar-frontline-split-screen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Google Workspace picks up new features designed for remote work<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Alphabet-owned company is announcing a slew of features for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/google-workspace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Workspace<\/a> (formerly G Suite). Teams Connect offers a new channel-sharing feature, while webinars on the platform can now invite up to 1,000 attendees.
