Afterpay is a lending provider (buy now, pay later), a model that&#8217;s becoming more popular of late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/clarabridge-ma-qualtrics-intl-idUSL1N2P52RS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Qualtrics to acquire Clarabridge for $1.1billion in stock<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/qualtrics-core-xm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Qualtrics<\/a> has been in news this year, and this time it&#8217;s for the acquisition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/clarabridge-engage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clarabridge<\/a>. Clarabridge uses AI to go through social media posts and customer support calls to find how the customer experience, which augments Qualtrics&#8217; offerings. The deal has been pegged at $1.125billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geekwire.com\/2021\/social-media-manager-hootsuite-acquires-conversational-ai-platform-heyday-48m\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Social media manager Hootsuite acquires conversational AI-platform Heyday for $48million<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/hootsuite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hootsuite<\/a> is a popular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/social-media-management-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">social media management software<\/a>, but now it&#8217;s aiming to grow beyond that as it has bought <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/conversational-marketing-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">conversational platform<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/heyday-ai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Heyday<\/a>. With this purchase, Hootsuite will allow users to chat with brands directly via text and video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/zoom-reaches-85-mln-settlement-lawsuit-over-user-privacy-zoombombing-2021-08-01\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Zoom reaches $85million settlement over user privacy, &#8216;Zoombombing&#8217;<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/video-conferencing-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">video conferencing software Zoom got in the limelight due to its ease of use and<\/a> the cases of Zoombombing. Now, it has settled a lawsuit in the US where it&#8217;s agreed to pay $85million to improve its security practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/microsofts-windows-365-cloud-pc-service-will-range-from-20-to-162-per-user-per-month\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Microsoft&#8217;s Windows 365 Cloud PC service will range from $20 to $162 per user per month<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accessing windows from anywhere&nbsp;\u2013 that&#8217;s what Microsoft promises with its Windows 365 Cloud PC service. The Redmond giant has now announced the pricing, which ranges from $20 per month and goes all the way up to $162 per month. The pricing varies depending upon the number of virtual cores, RAM, and storage one opts for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/dropbox-beats-q2-estimates-with-a-focus-on-distributed-work\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Dropbox beats Q2 estimates with a focus on distributed work<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cloud services company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/dropbox-business\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dropbox<\/a>&nbsp;managed to beat Wall Street expectations by focusing on distributed work. It had revenue of $530.6million, which is up 13.5 percent y-o-y.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/ringcentral-beats-q2-estimates-with-strong-partnerships\/#ftag=RSSbaffb68\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>RingCentral beats Q2 estimates with strong partnerships<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cloud communications provider <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/ringcentral-contact-center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RingCentral<\/a> saw its revenue increasing 36 percent year-on-year to $379million. The company has raised $450million co-led by Arena Holdings and Altimeter Capital. Rapyd, a fintech-as-a-service company offers things like payments, mobile wallets, money transfers, and more. It has closed a $300million Series E funding round. While it didn&#8217;t disclose its valuation, reports suggest that Rapyd is valued at $8.75billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20210805005304\/en\/GoGuardian%E2%80%94K-12-EdTech-SaaS-Leader%E2%80%94Announces-200-Million-Strategic-Investment-From-Tiger-Global-Management\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>GoGuardian \u2014 K-12 EdTech SaaS leader \u2014 announces $200million strategic investment from Tiger Global Management<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EdTech companies are booming in the pandemic, and GoGuardian is no different. Its customer base grew to 10,000 schools (a growth of over 60 percent). To grow further, it has gotten $200million funding led by Tiger Global, which values it over a billion dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2021\/08\/04\/fullstory-raises-103m-at-a-1-8b-valuation-to-combat-rage-clicks-on-websites-and-apps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>FullStory raises $103million at a $1.8billion valuation to combat rage clicks on websites and apps<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digital experience platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/fullstory\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FullStory<\/a> has nabbed a $103million funding. Led by SoftBank, it&#8217;s now valued at $1.2billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/venturebeat.com\/2021\/08\/04\/yellow-ai-raises-78m-to-expand-its-ai-chatbot-platform-globally\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Yellow.ai raises $78million to expand its AI chatbot platform globally<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conversational AI platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/yellow-messenger-platform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Yellow.ai<\/a> has gotten $78million Series C funding. Led by WestBridge Capital, the startup will expand to the US market while increasing its employee base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/alexkonrad\/2021\/08\/04\/superhuman-raises-75-million-for-its-waitlist-only-email-productivity-app\/?sh=25478a6b4918\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Superhuman raises $75million for its waitlist-only email productivity app<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Email app Superhuman has received $75million in funding led by IVP. The Series C round values the company at $825million. Worth noting that Superhuman has never launched publicly, and still has a waitlist of over 450,000 people. It&#8217;ll be using the amount to bring support for Outlook and expand to Android.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/venturebeat.com\/2021\/07\/30\/moengage-raises-32-5m-to-inject-customer-engagement-with-ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MoEngage raises $32.5million to inject customer engagement with AI<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/marketing-automation-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marketing automation software<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/moengage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MoEngage<\/a> has raised $32.5million led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management.
