As per the report, the company\u00a0\u2013 which started as a helpdesk software, and today has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/crm-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CRM<\/a> and ITSM offering too\u00a0\u2013 could raise $100million at a $10billion valuation. Currently, Freshworks has over 50,000 customers (companies that use its software) and had $168.9million in revenue in the first half of 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Related read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moneycontrol.com\/news\/business\/startup\/decoding-ipo-bound-freshworks-in-5-charts-7406131.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Decoding IPO-bound Freshworks in 5 charts<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-09-03\/uipath-rival-automation-anywhere-is-said-to-prepare-ipo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>UiPath rival Automation Anywhere plans IPO as soon as this year<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/uipath-rpa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UiPath<\/a> IPOed at a stunning valuation of $29billion. Now its rival Automation Anywhere is slated to go public in 2022. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/robotic-process-automation-rpa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Robotic Process Automation<\/a> company was last valued at $6.8billion in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-09-01\/alliancebernstein-backed-samsara-files-confidentially-for-ipo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Andreessen and General Catalyst-backed Samsara files confidentially for IPO<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cloud-based fleet management company Samsara has also filed to go public. The company is valued at $5.4billion based on its $400million fund infusion last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2021\/08\/30\/square-to-launch-a-new-paid-subscription-invoices-plus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Square to launch a new paid subscription, Invoices Plus<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/payment-gateway-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">payment gateway software<\/a> has been in news for a variety of reasons. The latest is for a new service dubbed Invoices Plus, a subscription service for its invoicing software with some advanced features. While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/square-payments\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"Square (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\">Square<\/a> hasn\u2019t made any announcement publicly, several individual sellers have access to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"earnings-corner\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Earnings_corner\"><\/span>Earnings corner<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/zoom-q2-earnings-2022-164046775.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Zoom shares plummet amid slowing growth, disappointing guidance<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/zoom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zoom<\/a> boom was expected to be slowed down once the world starts going back to normal, and that&#8217;s what&#8217;s happening it seems. While the video conferencing software managed to beat analyst expectations, its growth is slowing down. That said, its revenue in Q2 was $1.02billion versus $990million expected&#8230; which is significant as it crossed the billion-dollar mark for quarterly sales for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/crowdstrike-beats-q2-estimates-with-strong-subscription-growth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Crowdstrike beats Q2 estimates with strong subscription growth<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cybersecurity company Cloudstrike reported revenue of $337.7million, which was up 70 percent year-on-year. It also announced the addition of 1,660 new customers, taking its total subscription customers to 13,080. In the third quarter, its expecting revenue between $358 &#8211; and $365.3million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/okta-raises-fy-2022-outlook-after-strong-q2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Okta raises FY 2022 outlook after strong Q2<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/identity-and-access-management-iam-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Identity and access management software<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/okta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Okta<\/a> reported revenue of $316million&nbsp;\u2013 much higher than analysts&#8217; expectation of $296.52million revenue. The numbers also include Okta&#8217;s acquisition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/auth0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Auth0<\/a>. Based on its strong growth, Okta has raised the expectations for the entire fiscal 2022 with revenue in the range of $1.243 &#8211; and $1.250billion, which will signify ~50 percent growth y-o-y.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zdnet.com\/article\/asana-beats-expectations-for-q2-reports-record-revenue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Asana beats expectations for Q2, reports record revenue<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/project-management-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Project management software<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/asana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Asana<\/a> Q2 financial results were also impressive. It reported $89.5million revenue, which has grown by 72 percent versus the same period last year. The Series H round was led by Morgan Stanley. The company is on track to cross $1billion in revenue this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/venturebeat.com\/2021\/09\/02\/seo-optimization-platform-botify-lands-55m\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>SEO optimization platform Botify lands $55million<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/botify\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Botify<\/a>, a startup that offers tools for search engine optimization, has nabbed $55million in Series C funding. Led by InfraVia Growth, it&#8217;ll help Botify to expand globally, and develop its partner ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/il\/news-releases\/payem-the-global-spend-and-procurement-platform-emerges-from-stealth-with-27m-in-funding-301366963.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>PayEm, the global spend and procurement platform, emerges from stealth with $27million in funding<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PayEm has revealed it has raised $27million in funding for its spend and procurement platform, which integrates with financial systems and ERPs. Worth noting that the startup was working in stealth has started generating revenue already.
