In the pursuit of the same, it has purchased <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/clipchamp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ClipChamp<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/video-editing-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video-editing software<\/a> that has over 17million users. While the price of the deal isn&#8217;t known, Microsoft will be bringing ClipChamp users to Microsoft services and their subscribers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/yourstory.com\/2021\/09\/san-francisco-saas-startup-notion-acquires-automate-ai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"ek-link\"><strong>San Francisco-based SaaS startup Notion acquires Hyderabad-based Automate.io to open its first engineering centre outside the US<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/note-taking-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Note-taking software<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/notion-so\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Notion<\/a> has acquired Indian company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/automate-io\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Automate.io<\/a>. While the terms of the deal weren&#8217;t disclosed, the team at Automate.io will join Notion along with creating an engineering hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/uipath-stock-falls-following-earnings-beat-outlook-hike-11631046109\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>UiPath stock falls following earnings beat, outlook hike<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was earlier this year that Robotic Process Automation company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/uipath-rpa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UiPath<\/a> went public. And, in its first earnings report, it managed to beat Wall Street expectations with revenue of $195.5million and ARR of $726.6million, which rose by 60 percent year-on-year. Yet, its shares dropped by&nbsp;6 percent after hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/venturebeat.com\/2021\/09\/08\/google-debuts-meet-features-including-companion-mode\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Google debuts Meet features, including \u2018Companion mode\u2019<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The search behemoth has been infusing a lot of features to its video conferencing software, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/google-hangouts-meet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Meet<\/a>. Now, it has announced functionality like Meet calling and real-time translation for captions. It&#8217;s also introducing Companion mode as well as support for new hardware like Logitech Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Google also launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/google-workspace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Workspace<\/a> spaces that let users collaborate in real-time with tools like Calendar, Drive, Docs, Meet, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/box-prevails-fight-with-starboard-over-board-seats-sources-2021-09-09\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Box shareholders re-elect company directors; Starboard fails to win any seats<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After months of the fight, Starboard Value has failed to win for the control of cloud-storage firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/box-relay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Box<\/a>. It was just in March this year when it had raised $175million, and now, it has gotten $300million. Co-led by Sands Capital Ventures and Tiger Global, the startup is now valued at $8.5billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/venturebeat.com\/2021\/09\/08\/database-startup-singlestore-raises-75m\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Database startup SingleStore raises $80million<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/product\/singlestore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SingleStore<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saasworthy.com\/list\/database-management-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">database management software<\/a>, has received $80million in Series F funding. Led by Insight Partners, the startup is touching the unicorn valuation, and it&#8217;ll be using the amount for product development and building awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2021\/09\/05\/spains-factorial-raises-80m-at-a-530m-valuation-on-the-back-of-strong-traction-for-its-workday-for-smbs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Spain\u2019s Factorial raises $80million on the back of strong traction for its \u2018Workday for SMBs\u2019<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Barcelona-based Factorial offers a platform for SMBs to run HR functions. It has now closed an $80million funding round that values it between $500- and $550million. The Series B round was led by Tiger Global, and will allow the startup to expand to more geographies and improve its product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2021\/09\/09\/supabase-raises-30m-for-its-open-source-insta-backend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Open source backend-as-a-service startup Supabase raises $30million<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Popularly known as the Firebase alternative, Supabase has closed a $30million Series A round.
