It raised over a billion dollars at a market cap of $10billion (the current valuation is even higher). The CEO Girish Mathrubootham said that he feels like an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moneycontrol.com\/news\/business\/ipo\/freshworks-ipo-debut-feel-like-an-indian-athlete-who-has-won-a-gold-medal-says-girish-mathrubootham-7495891.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Indian athlete who won a gold medal<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IPO also created <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.in\/stock-market\/news\/freshworks-ipo-500-crorepatis-12-billion-market-cap-and-more-that-emerged-from-indias-first-saas-listing-at-nasdaq\/articleshow\/86445614.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">500 millionaires<\/a>, thanks to Freshworks&#8217; ESOP policy. VC firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindubusinessline.com\/companies\/how-accel-spotted-a-winner-in-freshworks\/article36671189.ece\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Accel also hit a goldmine<\/a> thanks to its 26 percent stake in Freshworks, which is valued at over $3billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, Freshworks IPO isn&#8217;t the only significant development in the space this year. Several SaaS startups out of India have raised huge investments, becoming unicorns in the process. In the bid to make asynchronous remote work easier, it has announced Clips.
