Eoghan McCabe, the controversial Intercom co-founder who left the CEO role in 2020, is stepping back in

Intercom, the popular live chat software, is seeing a change in leadership. Two years after its co-founder Eoghan McCabe had left the CEO position, he’s now back in the same role. He also mentions that Intercom will take on Zendesk in the customer support space.

With security revenue surging, CrowdStrike wants to be a broader enterprise IT player

After unbundling became all the rage, it seems companies are starting to become a one-stop solution for consumers again. CrowdStrike, a leading cybersecurity company, is aiming to expand to other segments such as identity protection as well as data observability and IT operations.

SaaS companies that got the funding this week

Securiti launches data security cloud and announces $75million Series C

Cloud data control startup Securiti has nabbed $75million in Series C investment to build a platform for privacy, data security, governance, and compliance. The platform is dubbed DataControls Cloud. The funding was led by Owl Rock Capital.

Alkymi wants to bring custom automations to every business user

RPA startup Alkymi has raised $21million in Series A investment. It also highlighted that its revenue has grown 300 percent in the 12 months and has processed over 45million actions through the platform. The funding was led by Intel Capital and will be deployed toward hiring.

Humaans raises $15M to simplify HR tasks like onboarding

We’ve lost count of SaaS startups in the HR tech space that has received funding this year. The latest addition to that list is Humaans, which is offering a customisable HR stack for managing employee documents, data, payroll, and more. It has gotten $15million that will be utilised towards expanding its presence, product development, and hiring.

SaaS billing startup Zenskar bags funding to help companies address pricing issues

SaaS billing platform Zenskar has received $3.5million in seed funding. Led by Bessemer Venture Partners, the startup will expand its engineering team and accelerate its go-to-market efforts.

SaaS platform klikit saves restaurant kitchens from ‘tablet hell’

In yet another example of SaaS-ification, Klikit aims to make it easier for restaurants from managing orders across multiple apps and channels. The Singapore-based startup has raised $2million in pre-seed funding co-led by Global Founders Capital and Wavemaker Partners.
