Slack launches App Home in general availability

Popular workplace communication tool – Slack – has made it easier for other tools to offer more functionality natively. Dubbed App Home, the feature would allow you to use services like Drift, Zapier and more without even leaving Slack. It’d certainly be interesting how other developers will be utilising these capabilities.

Oxx, a new European VC dedicated to SaaS, raises $133M fund

With SaaS proving itself to be a great business model, we’re seeing the emergence of dedicated funds. The latest is Oxx, which has raised $133million to back European SaaS startups with Series A or more. The fund will be focusing on five key themes of data convergence & refinery, future of work, financial services infrastructure, user empowerment, and sustainable business. It has already backed a few startups like Funnel and ThinkTank.

Announcing MoEngage’s Series C: our story, milestones, and the future 

MoEngage helps apps and websites in knowing how users are using their services in a better manner. With these insights, companies can send users personalized notifications that improve engagement. The company counts several Fortune 500 brands as its clients, and has now raised $25million in Series C to fuel its next phase of growth.

Esper looks to strengthen Indian presence with $7.6 Mn Series A funding

Esper is an enterprise tech startup that offers Android device management and deployment software. It has over 65 customers and 50k devices globally, and with its series A funding, it’ll focus on expanding more in India and the United States.

AI document engineering startup Docugami raises $10M seed round in unusually large early stage deal 

Started by co-creator of the XML standard, and Microsoft’s Office file formats, Docugami uses AI to extract info from documents and then present them neatly in a dashboard. And while it came out of stealth in May 2019 itself, it has raised a rather large seed round worth $10million.

If a user realizes the value you provide in a single session, then self-serve can be effective
