Description

PaperSurvey is a survey management tool that enables users to create paper-based surveys and extract data using OMR (optical mark recognition) and HWR (handwritten text recognition) technologies. Users can create machine-readable paper questionnaires for automatic data extraction. The web application simplifies the paper data collection activities from survey creation to data analysis, and no installation is required. The tool recognizes checkboxes and radio boxes automatically from the scanned surveys with a 99.99% accuracy. Each page has a unique identifier to eliminate duplicates. Users have the option to customize the forms with their brand logo, colours, and font. Responses can be collected through web surveys as well, and files can be synced with and imported from Dropbox. Images can be added to the forms as well, and manual verification in the cases of anomalies is possible. The tool works with Microsoft Word mail merge and integrates with many apps via Zapier.
